Saturday Night Fever- 70′s Revisted
Posted by jerry mckinish on 1/22/2012
I know , I know, I have a thing for 1970′s Fashion, especially when
it comes to womens evening wear. There is just such sass that is derived
from that generation. Discos were thriving and nightlife was
flourishing. All sorts of hair styles, fashion styles, shoe styles,
jewelry and makeup styles emerged from that generation. Honestly, where
would we be without that generation that broke the rules and walked to
the beat of their own drum?
So, For the ladies who love to get dressed up on a Saturday night,
this is just for you. Here we have Bambi Northwood- Blyth as seen in
Harpers Bazaar Espana May 2011.
**ALERT:If your closet is lookin bare and you need some affordable key pieces for the evening, check out R-chameleon for Discount Designer Fashions
In this Photo, what I love is the fitted, deep V , Sleeveless dress
with waist belt. Its chic, classy and understated. Bambi’s hair is
gorgeous as she wears is off to one side. The Gold braided necklace is a
perfect accent to the deep navy ensemble she wears.

Next
we have classic 70′s inspired blazer with the oversized lapel and
contrast piping detail. The contrast stitching is also a great touch.
Worn underneath is a sexy, nude colored satin halter worn with a vibrant
coral satin skirt. Im loving the blinged out stilettos!

In this picture, the image that catches my eye is the white deep neck,
halter vest worn with deep navy maxi skirt. Of course, what makes this
so great is the outrageous hair and cat eye makeup. Throw in some chunky
gold accessories and Studio 54 is callin your name,
Now we have the best for last. Here Bambi wears a fitted, slender
tuxedo coat with black and white zebra top and super fitted, black and
white cheetah print pants.Gotta love the hair, bold makeup, but most of
all the Gold Ball n Chain Bracelets!
